Coastal-Terrestrial (on trees, rocks, old walls & buildings)
The lichens here may be referred to as Coastal-Terrestrial. They are found from the coast inland, as far inland as is under the influence of the sea. This varies from region to region depending on the type of landscape and its exposure to wind, consequently the distance inland cannot be stated in kilometres from the sea. These lichens are found in woods, fields, wayside trees and rocky outcrops, but may occur in other habitats also.
